Welcome to DearHaileeGrace.com. Here you will find a collection of letters I’m writing to my daughter. At the time of this posting, she is nearly 6 years old.

My name is Christy and I had a baby late in life. Because of that, I feel a strong urgency to write down all of the things I hope to tell her some day just in case I don’t get the opportunity. So, as things come across my heart, I want to journal them here in the format of a letter to my daughter. I hope this will be a repository she can revisit far into the future.

I also know that there may be other young people who would like to hear some wisdom from a Mama and if that’s you, I’m glad you found this spot.

I am a believer in Jesus so many of my posts will be faith based. But, as I’ve learned through so many years of walking with God, His wisdom is universal. So, even if you would like to sift out the faith part, I hope you find some useful nuggets here.

I am a life-long learner who loves to mentor and be mentored. I’ve studied business and leadership and learned some difficult lessons in those arenas as well. You may find some notes about that here as I begin posting my letters to Hailee Grace.

You already know I’m a mom, but I’m also a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I will be sharing things I’ve learned in every corner of my life. My prayer is that, if I will be vulnerable and share what I’ve learned, there will be value here for others. My best friend is a couple of years older than me and was transparent with me as she gave me a road map. This priceless gift has saved my life more than once. So, that’s what I hope to do here. A wise person learns from another’s mistakes. I hope you can avoid a few bumps in the road because I’ve told my stories here.

And, to Hailee Grace – you are my greatest and most precious gift from the Lord. Daddy and I love you so very much and hope God lets us see you grow very old and live lots of beautiful adventures.

Love, Mama
